Ancient Remedies: Snore Relief Jelly Recipe
Breathe Easy, Sleep Deeper – The Natural Way
Ingredients
- ½ cup water
- 1 tablespoon agar-agar powder (a natural vegan gelatin alternative)
- 5 drops peppermint essential oil (Mentha piperita)
- 5 drops eucalyptus essential oil (Eucalyptus globulus)
Tip: Both essential oils are available in our Essential Oils Collection – ethically sourced, 100% pure, and cruelty-free.
How to Make Snore Relief Jelly
In a small saucepan, bring the water to a gentle boil. Sprinkle in the agar-agar powder, stirring constantly to avoid clumps. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until fully dissolved.
Remove from heat. Stir in your peppermint and eucalyptus oils, mixing well so the aroma and benefits are evenly distributed.
Carefully pour the warm jelly mixture into small silicone molds, an ice cube tray, or a clean jar. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
Before bedtime, scoop out a portion of jelly and gently massage a small amount onto your throat and chest. Breathe deeply—let the natural vapours help open your airways and soothe congestion.
Bonus: You can also use this jelly as a natural chest rub during cold and flu season.
Wellness Notes
- Adjust essential oil quantities to your personal preference, but avoid overuse—too much can cause skin irritation.
- Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
- Discontinue if any irritation occurs.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
